China Loong Outdoor Lighting Co., Ltd. applies a structured quality control process to support consistent product performance, appearance, and order conformity. Our inspection practices cover outdoor lighting products such as street lights, flood lights, landscape lights, wall lamps, tunnel lights, solar outdoor lights, security sensor lights, RGB tubes, and related accessories. Inspection criteria are defined according to approved product specifications, customer requirements, intended applications, and industry-aligned practices.
1. Incoming Material Inspection
Incoming materials and components are checked before they are released for production. Depending on the product, inspections may cover metal housings, optical components, LED modules, drivers, cables, connectors, fasteners, seals, solar panels, batteries, sensors, and surface-finishing materials.
- Specification verification: Model, dimensions, material type, color, electrical ratings, and other key parameters are compared with purchasing and technical requirements.
- Visual inspection: Components are examined for deformation, cracks, scratches, contamination, oxidation, coating defects, and other visible issues.
- Functional sampling: Electrical and electronic components may be sampled for basic operating performance, subject to the relevant product specification.
- Material control: Nonconforming materials are identified and separated to prevent unintended use in production.
2. In-Process Quality Control
Quality checks are performed at appropriate production stages to identify issues before final assembly. Work instructions, approved samples, and internal inspection standards are used to control assembly consistency and key manufacturing details.
- Assembly control: Inspectors review component positioning, wiring, polarity, fastening, grounding arrangements, and connector installation where applicable.
- Sealing control: Gaskets, cable glands, sealing surfaces, and enclosure joints are checked carefully for products intended for outdoor or underground installation.
- Surface and appearance control: Coating condition, color consistency, housing finish, lens cleanliness, and visible workmanship are monitored during production.
- Process verification: Critical dimensions, torque requirements, electrical connections, and assembly steps are checked according to product-specific documentation.
- Traceability: Relevant production and inspection information is maintained in accordance with internal procedures and order requirements.
3. Finished Product Inspection
Completed products are inspected against approved specifications before they proceed to packing. The scope and method of testing depend on the product design, configuration, and application. Street lighting, high mast lights, wall washers, garden lights, portable outdoor lights, and other product groups may require different inspection points.
- Appearance and workmanship: Housings, lenses, brackets, fasteners, coatings, labels, and assembled surfaces are checked for completeness and acceptable finish.
- Dimensional conformity: Key dimensions, mounting interfaces, cable lengths, and accessory compatibility are verified where required.
- Electrical function: Power-on operation, input characteristics, light output, color performance, dimming, RGB control, sensors, or solar functions may be checked as applicable.
- Safety-related checks: Grounding continuity, insulation-related characteristics, and electrical connections may be evaluated based on product specifications and internal inspection requirements.
- Environmental protection: Enclosure sealing and relevant water- or dust-resistance checks may be conducted when specified for the product or order.
- Operating observation: Selected products may undergo operating or aging checks to confirm stable illumination and identify abnormal flickering, noise, heat, or control behavior.
4. Packaging and Pre-Shipment Check
Packaging is reviewed to help protect products during handling and international transportation. Before shipment, order information is cross-checked to reduce the risk of incorrect models, quantities, accessories, or markings.
- Product protection: Inner protection, cartons, inserts, and other packing materials are selected according to product size, weight, finish, and transportation needs.
- Accessory confirmation: Brackets, screws, connectors, controllers, manuals, and other specified items are checked against the packing requirements.
- Label verification: Product labels, carton marks, model information, electrical ratings, and customer-specific identification are reviewed for consistency.
- Quantity and order review: Packed quantities, product variants, color options, and shipment details are compared with the confirmed order documentation.
- Final packaging inspection: Carton condition, sealing, palletization, and shipping marks are checked before goods are released for dispatch.
5. Feedback, Corrective Action, and Continuous Improvement
China Loong Outdoor Lighting Co., Ltd. treats quality control as an ongoing process. When a nonconformity is found during incoming inspection, production, final inspection, or customer use, the relevant information is reviewed to determine the likely cause and appropriate response.
Corrective actions may include material review, process adjustment, work-instruction updates, additional inspection, supplier communication, or design evaluation. Feedback from international buyers is also shared with the appropriate technical, production, and quality teams. This closed-loop approach helps us improve product consistency, inspection effectiveness, packaging suitability, and order execution while responding to the practical requirements of different outdoor lighting projects.
